I finished the first episode and a little of episode 2. Honestly, I think it completely sucks. It borders on parody most of the time. It feels like a bad 90s movie.

When the Carnival of Crime was robbing the bank(s) I kept getting flashes of Joker's henchmen from the first Batman film.

I completely agree with the pacing/editing issues. It felt like it was just slapped together.

The acting is silly and over the top in a lot of places.

One thing that bugged the hell out of me was Orwell taking the Cape back to her hideout before she knew who he was. Seriously? So, she encounters him, doesn't know for sure that he's a good guy, but decides to take his word and then waits to verify it after he knows where she operates? That is ridiculous.

Oh, and I love that the Cape (which I find to be a stupid name) attacks Chess with his face visible. He supposed to be dead. That's completely careless.

I just hope this doesn't give the people watching it the wrong idea about comics.

I don't know if I'll be watching anymore. There wasn't really anything redeeming about this show for me.

I think I'll try one or two more episodes. See where it goes and if it continues to be what it is, I'll be done with it. I'm about to get crazy busy and I just don't have time for mediocre shows and this show while I thought was ok is the absolute definition of mediocre.

I watched the cape last night its not really original the cape is totally batman. The circus guy is the Ringmaster (the marvel character) the villain last night had razor sharp playing cards ala the joker. Chess is a typical super villain who wants to rule the world.

Eh, last nights episode wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it more than I did the first two. Also, it is way obvious that:

It couldn't have been more obvious and that's more or less what I think of this show in general. Having said that, this wasn't totally horrible. Predictable but not bad. This show really does have a limited shelf life though.

I saw all of one minute of the new episode and what I saw did make that glaringly obvious.

I read somewhere that the guy responsible for the show is a hardcore comic fan! That makes me want to check this out, but all the reviews I've read so far have been "middle of the road" so far. I'll have to wait for a marathon over a holiday weekend or something to watch em all!

I don't think anyone could survive a marathon of this show. I think after the first or second episode in I would fall asleep.

Watched the next episode. I wonder if the creators know that this show is on borrowed time?

This show has horrible bad guys!!!

This show is so 90s. This likely would've been pretty good fifteen years ago next to the Flash and Mantis.
