No I can't, I've never won anything noteworthy for my costumes. Daisy and I did win something from a prize box at CCC2009, but I don't think it really counts.

And anyways, I'm like 95% sure that doing Huntress is out for me. The more I look into making this costume, the more I'm realizing I just don't have the funds to do it. I'm open to suggestions. I was thinking Rose Tyler maybe.

Aww, that would be cool. Union jack t-shirt and a leather jacket and you're on your way. I've been seriously tempted to do a Rule 63 Doctor, but I have no idea if I could pull it off. I don't know though, maybe I'll pass on Lady Blackhawk? I guess this really all depends on if I can get a decent enough job and get some money saved up before C2E2. Power Girl is happening no matter what.

cant wait for c2e2. tha heroes for hire are gonna kick ass. and im thinkin we could get a company crossover and ask power girl if she's ever been gangbanged by tha heroes for hire lol. i kid i kid lol. but i definitely wanna see ur power girl meg. i guess i need to get crackin on my two potential costumes. i need to order tha green contacts i spotted a while ago too.

as for all tha costume shenanigans, we're supposed to have a few lanterns, we could act out somethin from blackest night. just an idea lol.

Well, I definitely have...it's just that I don't think I could do a very good job on the costume, and I'm definitely too broke to afford to commission it. I would be bikini Barda but that would be a little cold for March in Chicago. I do wanna try and do her someday though!

I was thinking of making her blue leather jacket. That seems to be the most iconic. I was also thinking of making that giant gun she has in one episode.



I'm still bouncing ideas around though. Nothing makes me lose more sleep than costumes.

I felt like such a dork handing the guy a picture of Rose and saying "I need it to look exactly like that". Then he told me about another client of his that is a cosplayer too, and said it ain't no thang. But Thomas is the most fabulous hair stylist in all of Indy.
