C2E2 2011 Costumes

So the other Kristin and I were talking about this the other day and were thinking about a group for our ladies.

I've got dibs on Black Canary and Kristin has called dibs on Huntress...

I just wondered if anyone would want to join us?

i would luv to see that. and as soon as saw tha pic, i wondered who was gonna be black canary, cuz she's my fav out tha bunch. if u ladies do go thru wit it, i have no doubt it'll look fantastic. i've been puttin in serious thought on my costume for that con too, i had finally narrowed down my characters, and i've picked tha winner. i just gotta do some research on tha materials. this will be my first cosplay.

And, I'd love to do Hawk (I've got the personality for it ), but my costume schedule is already set.

I could work on the costume anyways for future use, plus if my Saturday costume falls through, I could have it for a backup...

If I keep lifting I might be able to do this costume some real justice.

I was bored at clinicals today, cause they were working on the scanner I can use, and before they decided to send me home I managed to sketch out the pieces I'll need for my body suit. I might be able to get them cut out in a muslin tomorrow if things go well.

Kristin, I may be picking your brain at some point on Saturday about making the boots.

Thank ya, thank ya! What's awesome is not just about the rack...I mean, I have that, I can't say I don't, but what I love is that our personalities are so damn similar sometimes. I wouldn't even try it if I didn't think I could sell the hell out of it.

And Josh, it's only cosplay, why you have to be mad? (I know you're not, I'm just messing.) But...y'know, we could totally be twin Lady Blackhawks. Let's make it happen.

I could do Lady Blackhawk. I don't know crap about DC but I'd love to cosplay with you girls!! And I wouldn't have to buy a wig. Sweet. The costume doesn't look too hard to make. It'll have its challenges.
