What Are Your Recent Purchases? What Are You Reading Now?

Lately, I've been reading the Blacket Night main and BN: Batman and BN: Superman minis, as well as Cry For Justice, Superman/Batman and my usual monthlys. Stuck with Superman/Batman, because I'm missing the first issue of the next story arc that I've gotten caught up to. I'll probably hunt it down later this week.

The main book is AWFUL right now. This pirate story sucks. That mini-series he recently had (has? I can't remember if it ended yet) was pretty good though.

The pirate story already wrapped up and now Wade is in SF, trying to join the X-Men (what an original idea!) I must agree that the two-part pirate story was mostly terrible and was nothing more than a fill-in.

Suicide Kings (the mini-series) wrapped up last month. I think I was the only one who hated it (well except for the final issue, it was kinda decent). It was nothing more than extra DP shenanigans and "Who'll Wade team-up this issue?" sort of story.

Good to hear the pirate stuff only lasted two issues. I get my comics pretty late and have a hard time keeping track of them.

So I picked up Models Inc. #1 Not bad man, not bad.

Reading Justice and GL: Rebirth right now. Both great stories. Since Justice is in single issues, I read that at home, and Rebirth, a TPB is my commute read.
