Guy Ritchie to Film 'Lobo'

Heard about this. It'd be neat if it happened. I'd be happy with another short-film like Paramilitary Christmas Special.

Not cool I despise guy ritchie and don't see why anyone likes his shitty films

The films that made him famous (Lock Stock, Snatch) were great but after marrying that horrible bitch he lost his talent. Rockenrolla was kinda good, but I wouldn't to see a sequel like planned.

Frequent Ritchie collaborator Jason Statham might make a decent Lobo.

I'm ambivalent about this. Could be great; could be horrible. Same with anything else.

While I can't speak for all of his movies, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch were both quality cinema.

See, I loved RocknRolla. Even the bf, who hates those kinds of movies, enjoyed it. I also enjoyed Snatch and Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels. I think his films achieve that level of casual wittiness that always seems a bit forced in Tarantino flicks. Also, I like that you have to pay attention when watching a Ritchie film...it makes your brain work instead of shutting it down with blood and explosions.

This might be alright. I really liked Lock,Stock,Snatch,and Rockarolla but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I really don't like Lobo that much. He was fine in his appearances in the DCAU, but I just don't care for him. And I've never seen a Guy Ritchie movie, so this doesn't excite me. I might see it, but I don't know.

I could see Ritchie going almost Grind-house-y with this.

However, you can still be pretty b-movie and over the top with PG-13, just without sex, language, and too much gore.
