Duckula is the suckula.

Good stuff (in no specific order):

Dracula (1931)
Blade
Van Helsing (okay, not *only* about vampires, but Drac was the big bad)
John Carpenter's Vampires (probably his last great movie, very underrated)
Fright Night
The Lost Boys
The Horror of Dracula/Dracula (1955)
Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
Taste the Blood of Dracula
Once Bitten
The Last Man on Earth
The Omega Man
I Am Legend
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (movie)

The Omega Man...good flick....second attempt to make I am Legend into a movie if memory serves. Strange...I never really saw The Omega Man as a "Vampire" movie...but then again I haven't seen it for years.

Eh. It's arguable either. I only added it because so many other people *do* consider it a vampire movie, but honestly, I don't see it much either. That was all downplayed in that movie besides them not liking sunlight. Even though it's so far off from the book and other movies, it's still my favorite version.

In no specific order regarding movie vs book or enjoyment(fun with randomization)

The Anita Blake Series by Laurell Hamilton
Let the Right One In
The Reformed Vampire Support Group By Catherine Jinks
Interview with a Vampire
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Twilight(the books not the movie)
Dusk til Dawn
Queen of the Damned
The Vampire Lovers
Blood and Donuts
Buffy the Vampire Slayer(not the movie but I hope if they do make a new movie that Joss is a part of making it)
Vampyros Lesbos
Jesus Chris Vampire Hunter
Vampire Hunter D
The Forsaken
Underworld

I know there are a number of B side horrors that are pretty awesome alas I can't remember the titles at the moment.

I used to watch all these cheesy "horror" fliks on a local UHF station, Channel 56. Every Saturday they had this "Creature Double Feature," and one of the movies I remember was called "Twins of Darkness." Anyone else ever see this flik?

It was a classic good v.s evil vampire movie w/two beautiful twin females (of course). One was the proverbial "good girl," a virgin wearing white & a crucifix necklace, & the other "dark" one was having an affair with the local vampire & became one herself.

You know the story: the townsfolk couldn't tell them apart & almost executed the wrong one, etc. It was hokey but fun, and I was very young. Someday I hope to find it online & watch it again. Hopefully it won't be like when I finally found Karen Black's "Trilogy of Terror."

(I watched this about 2 years ago, & the little tribal doll that had so frightened me back when I was five now reminded me of "The Head Detective" from "In Living Color." Every time she was holding the Zuni doll to her neck, being "attacked," I kept thinking, "Oh, Detective Head! I never Dreamed it could be like this!") Laughing

That's funny...I first saw TofT when I was about 5 or a 6 and yeah...that damn doll scared the crap outta me. And of course...it seems very silly to me now.

Same here, but it was terrible. Same guy who made Equilibrium too. Shame.

Nice. I was going to mention the Castlevania games.

Ditto. I also liked Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, based on the 3rd book. Liked it a little more, actually.

I want to see Let the Right One In & Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

I'm really into E.E.Knight's Vampire Earth series. Unconventional vampire stories. Very cool.
