And of the recent vampire stuff I've seen, I'm in love with parts of 30 days of night and hate other parts. I wasn't a fan of the comic, though the premise is genius in a why didn't I ever think of that way. The biggest issue I have with the movie is it does a terrible job of portraying time. It seems more like two days of night tops.

Even Buffy would hook up with Bill Compton or Eric Northman over Liam Angelus or whatever his full name was. They're broody, but they're not afraid to have sex and be vicious. And they don't have Klingon-face when they vamp out.

I love Buffy to death, but True Blood is what Buffy would have been had there not been network censors.
