^ It was such a let down. Really, don't be afraid to wait for dvd. The movie was originally shot in 2D, anyway.

I enjoyed it. saw it in 2d. thought it was a fine fantasy flick. I even enjoyed the Djinn. for those who are complaining about mixing mythologies, just gotta remind you that the Kraken (which was in the original) isn't in Greek myth either.

^ Right, Norse. But it still felt really...bad story execution. Dialogue had me smiling and raising eyebrows a lot.
Medusa's lair was the only pretty-cool part for me the entire film.

Yeah, the original is awesome, if dated. The new one... well, if SV liked it, I'm still gonna give it a shot. I rally had high hopes,a nd I'm actively lowering them as we speak in hopes of being pleasantly surprised.

the kraken looked friggin awesome, i watched it saturday it wasn't like "epic" but it's watchable. i enjoyed it.
