So this is a series and not a DTV movie? Looks decent and it's about time Marvel got serious about competing with DC in animation. What network?

I might DVR. A comicbook-based cartoon hasn't captured my attention since the DCAU ended. Not counting movies, of course.

Batman: B&B is really good, but Cartoon Network is so schizo with the scheduling of it, it is hard to become attached. Besides that, yeah, it's been garbage.

^ I tried watching the Crazy Quilt episode of Batman: B&B on Free OnDemand, but couldn't focus. I commend it on its merit. Actually digging into the fun that DC can be. Just not my cup o'tea.

The trailer showed Thor as an all powerful wrecking machine.

It showed Iron-Man as a strategic genius and powerful, mobile fighter.

It showed that Hulk is the team's raw strength.

It showed Cap as a dedicated combatant, who prioritizes protecting innocents and can still take on powerful foes.

It showed the Wasp being an adaptable, quick thinking heroine.

And it showed Hank Pym building Ultron and struggling to succeed in a fight.

It looks like this will be a very faithful adaption of the comics.

Could this be the best Marvel cartoon so far, perhaps? It does look a bit Justice League'ish.

^ That'd be grand. We need a "MAU" because, although I loved them when I was younger, the 90s Marvel cartoons don't really hold up. Spider-Man and X-Men, being their best, just had really rough animation and laughable written-dialogue. At least now it seems that way.

If this starts a legion of Marvel cartoons that'd make Timm and Dini flinch, I'm all for the competition of who's better. Because, let's face it, when DC made Batman: B&B, it was definitely for kids, with a Y7 as its rating. Then, what does Marvel do? "Oh yeah, DC! CHIBI-MARVEL!" They could make a cutesy cartoon for even littler kids and sell their Super Hero Squad toys. Marvel needs to do their damnedest to stray from commercialism at this point in time, so I'm happy about this. Still not sure, though.

^ They've always gone back and forth, haven't they? Plus, Stark Tower Complex and Stark Industries is all of The Avengers' stuff/tech, ya? Makes sense. Wouldn't be surprised, with its mature look, that the rift between Rogers and Stark will boil in the first season.

well i have to say i have really liked some of marvel's animated shows right now. spectacular spiderman is great and wolverine and the x-men is excelent. so i will check this out
