Once upon a time there was a place known as the pop compound. Exactly one year ago a group of online fans of pop culture got together and created a home of their very own. Zombie proof, insane fan boys from earth prime proof, angry comic creators proof but the one thing it never counted on being proofed for was one of their own….
David page also known by his online handle shining knight was a beloved member of the compound who fell on hard times. First his girlfriend betrayed him to the villainous doom lord then his second girlfriend broke up with him and ended up with frozen. This slightly unhinged him but what plunged him into the depths of madness was when he discovered a small piece of paper and foolishly picked it up.
This paper was one of the fabled pages of power. A magical spell book of great evil. This contains enough power to wipe out everything that ever lived, if used by the wrong person. The book belonged to David Lockhart a powerful mage who feared its power. During a vicious magical battle the book was destroyed scattering its pages across the world. Its evil influence waiting to ensnare anyone foolish enough to touch it.
From that moment on the shiny that everyone loved was dead and in its place was a cold brutal killer. He terrorised the pop compound almost bringing it to its knees but thanks to the help of Doug and frozen he has been repelled twice.
But not without cost
Doug’s boyfriend David L perished during the attack and was buried with honour in the necropolis known as Greenlandiana. Unknown to everyone however the body was gone….
Now Doug and frozen are on a mission to stop David and his sidekick thundermatts from getting all the pages of power thus making them unstoppable….
But the legend of the pages is well known and others also crave its power. The doom lord a mysterious being of ultimate power wishes the book as does the man known only as slaughterhouse. But yet another wish it to be in his hands and he may be the worst of them all….
PROLOGUE
Pop compound
Jason Keuroac was shutting up the bank for the night. Since the mysterious disappearance of Thelma Thursday who ran the bank he has been filling in. He did not like this as he was supposed to be a sheriff not a clerk.
He was just about finished and was about to open the door to get out and go home to ska when the door was kicked off its hinges, sending him flying.
“What the fuck?” muttered keuroac as he wiped the blood off his forehead and felt the huge scrape which the impact of the door caused.
“Jason keuroac….sheriff of this crap shack….you have what my master seeks….” Muttered a voice which was both mechanical and yet oddly familiar.
“You are damn right I’m the sheriff,” shouted Jason pulling out two guns and firing them at the mysterious villain. They just bounced off him.
“You are wasting my time….I intended you to live…I am afraid that is not an option for you anymore,” sighed the mechanical foe.
The villain moved fast and sliced both Jason’s arms off. Jason fell down in pain and only looked up in horror at the creature.
“I am afraid your bank stories are all over now….goodbye Jason Keuroac….” Muttered the villain and then he plunged his sword into Jason’s chest.
The villian opened up its mask and smiled down at Jason who was slowly dying. But Jason recognised the face of his killer.
"You!"
"Yeah....didn't think there was a third traitor in the compound after Dave and Matts didn't you?" grinned the villian slamming the mask back on and striking Jason one final time.
The villain put his metal hand into the pool of blood that was quickly forming round Jason and daubed something onto the wall. He then pressed the panic button and caused the alarm to ring. He then disappeared just as U.N.I.T
“Oh my god!” muttered Jess in horror at the devastation caused by the fight.
“Quick W check Jason,” shouted the Brigadier
“He’s got a pulse, he’s still alive!” said W who then began to pull a small button out of his pocket.
“Good Idea W, port him to doctor Whitworth, see if he can help him,”
Agent L.L was looking at the words daubed in blood on the wall. He got a slight shiver at those words.
They said
