MAJOR HELP NEEDED

Hey guys. Right now I am supposed to be editing a video for a project for my 20th Century Lit class. The footage was sent to me like this.

I have no way to download the video. If anybody would know any sort of program that I could use to download the video PLEASE tell me.

who sent it to you, can you have her send it to you via a ftp site?

What's a ftp site?

file transfer protocol... its where you can move large files a bit easier and quicker than just an email....

Do you know any good FTP's?

I could, but that doesn't take into account that I am one of the most lazy people ever. I think I also live like half a hour away from her.

Yep... I second the I drove an hour, one way to see my best friend yesterday.

This person isn't a best friend, they're just a person in my group. They're cool and all, but I probably wouldn't talk to them unless I was in this group with them.

I have to drive 15 minutes to get gas.

I don't drive and I don't like to make my parents waste their gas.

I don't see how driving for a school project is a waste, but if you do then you could always pay your parents for the gas. An hour round trip is what, maybe 50 miles? Unless your parents drive a bus, that's a few dollars of gas at most.

Yep.... I second that thought. I can't see your parents saying "Nope, we're not gonna help you for the sake of a grade."
