So this is mostly my fault, but still, why should I be punished?
I have had Angel season 5 since it came out on dvd. I just never got around to watching it unti now. So I finish the thrid disc on it last night and go to pop in disc 4 and there is a disc 5 in it's place. So I go to the disc 5 spot and there is a second disc 5 there. Yes, I should of checked this when I bought it. Lesson learned on my end.
So I call up Fox DVD customer service and they told me that because it is over year old and I don't have a reciept that they cannot do anything for me, to try going to the store and see if they will exchange it. So I go to one Best Buy, one Target and one Wal-Mart. They all tell me the same thing, they will not exchange it because the version I have is discontinued (I have the big box version as opposed to the slim cases version that are now sold.) Since they are discontinued they cannot return them to the manufacter to get their credit for it.
So I get home and call the Fox customer service department again and tell them what I was told. I was told by the rep. that he cannot do anything about it. I ask to speak to his supervisor, he tells me he is the supervisor. I ask to speak to his manager, he puts me through to her voicemail. I have now called back twice since leaving a message and she is either away or on another call.
I am not asking for much, yes I should of checked this when I got it, but now I have to be forced to buy the whole set over again? That aint gonna happen. Anyway, just feel like venting.
