There is never any free time for spider-man...Spider-Man wrote:I'm gonna have to see this, whenever time becomes free.
Justin wrote:So, according to Jason's review of Watchmen, he loves it when the soundtrack in a movie is blunt and in your face and spells out exactly what is going on in the movie.
How the fuck does that happen? You're aching to see this flick, and your stuck-up sis-in-law sees it before you?Debaser77 wrote:My mega-prudish sister in law hated it (not sure what she was expecting), so I'm sure to love it when I see it.

No justice, no peace.
Best part?
The woman who brought her nine year old son to the movie and then got all huffy and tried to complain to a theatre worker.
Woman: This is outragous! I should have been warned! My nine year old son has now been scarred for life thanks to you people! NINE! He is NINE!
Man walking by: Wait. You brought your nine year old son to Watchmen? Did you NOT read the rating first?
Man's girlfriend: or did you think "R" stood for "Really Good"?
Man: because really? It's not the theatre's fault you're an idiot.
My boyfriend and I had to race out of there because our sides hurt from holding in our laughter

What 'big' change?
Topcat wrote:Saw this yesterday afternoon @ the local IMAX & I was completely blown away.
I was not familiar w/ the comics at all (tho' you can bet your fur I'll be readin' 'em now) & the storyline seemed amazingly well thought out. The characters were dark & flawed, unlike, say, Clark Kent. It was a really groovy film, & I'll probably go see it in the theater again one more time.
My buddy Damon tells me that he "didn't like the removal of the final convo between Veidt and Manhattan," but that's he's "ok with the 'big' change."
What 'big' change?
