Halloween 2

Yaay! I didn't even know this was being made until today.

Coolness. Happy to hear he is finishing it up. I guess he's a bigger fan than most, because many don't know that the original sequel to Halloween was supposed to be the last one. At least for Michael Myers.

Ugh. His wife is so bad. Glad to see he managed to cram her in there. Other than that, coolio yo.

This shit looks sooo creepy and it looks better than the first one, which I must admit I was a fan of.

I haven'ts een the first, proly won't see this one. HOTC was terrible. Then again I hadn't seen the original Hills Have Eyes or Texas Chainsaw Massacre until after I saw HOTC. So then I understood what he was paying homage too. HIlls and Texas were both "meh".

Did you see Devil's Rejects? It's completely different than House of 1000 Corpses.



Also, to those of you who happen to remember Renae Geerlings, the former editor over at Top Cow, she's in the flick! Tyler Mane is her hubby, and she posted some photos of her and the cast over on her MySpace.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Interviews and such I've seen have me pretty intrigued since it's focusing on Laurie and her trauma after the first movie.

This movie's gonna rock plain and simple.

Agreed on Devil's Reject being VERY much different from House of 1000 Corpses AND it being good. I originally didn't like House, but I saw it again on TV last year and ended up liking it. I like Devil's Rejects better though because it was more of a thriller than an over the top gorefest.

H2... Eh. I didn't care for the remake. I'll stick this on my Netflix list when it's on DVD.

I'm a huge Halloween fan.
I'm not too big on the remakes but I really think this one is gonna take off.

Personally, I didn't like horror flicks until after I met my wife. She MADE me watch the first three Saw movies back to back, and I actually enjoyed them. Then, a pile of zombie flicks, Texas Chainsaw, and right on up to 1000 Corpses, the Devil's Rejects and so on. We watched Halloween (the RZ version) a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! I caught the trailer for H2 last week, and I'm really excited to see it. Trouble is, with the kid, it's hard to see a flick in theatres, so it may end up that I wait until after its out on DVD.

After watching the trailer for this all week....I'm am now totally primed and ready!!

I saw this preview a few days ago. I have rarely been one for horror movies, but this looked pretty terrifying.

I might have to wait till early next week to catch it. Really looking forward to it though.

In prep for seeing Halloween 2 I watched Zombie's Director's Cut of first one the other night and was a bit pissed.. If you haven't seen it you might want to skip over this..

Michael's escape scene is changed. Instead of moving him to maximum security from the sanitarium, the guard, the one that Danny Trejo is training, and his cousin take a female patient into Michael's room and rape her. Michael finally gets pissed and kills them and then the movie picks back up. I don't feel that scene was in any way better for the story than the original. You loose Bill Moseley's cameo, too. Lame decision Zombie.
