Swine Flu

I've been hearing alot about this lately. Anyone else think that this'll become one of the biggest epidemic this country has seen in a long time. I do. It seems to be spreading quite fast with one death, 66 confirmed cases, a probable case in Chicago, and one in Indiana all in about a week and a half.Last I hear the CDC is still about 2 months from having a working vaccine. Some jackass on the radio was saying he's stocking up on zombie killing gear cause this is how it'll start...flu like symptoms followed by death and then....Bam...overrun with zombies per This nation watches way too many movies .Shaun of the Dead and just about every other zombie movie ever made. Anyways...that's my two cents.

Just saying -- 66 reported NATIONWIDE cases of any flu doesn't scream "world-wide epidemic" to me.

The media just latched onto something to further contribute to the state of fear they try to keep us in. In a few months time it will pass and no one will care.

This thread only strengthens the media hold on our attention. They're probably using it to cover up things, just like with Octo-Mom and everytime a little girl goes missing. The government could be doing some heinous stuff right now and we wouldn't even know it because FOX News, CNN, and MSNBC want to cover the latest "Paris Hilton" out right now.

And if you haven't heard, then Israeli Health Minister Deputy (he's an orthodox) called the media to not use the term "Swine Flu" and instead call it "Mexican Flu". In every conversation I had about this I said: How lovely of him to move the "blame" from an animal Judaism already considers impure, and "blame" a whole nation. Stupid, stupid, stupid religion!
