Call of Duty: Black Ops

Anyone play this yet? I really like the multiplayer but I'm rather dissapointed over how the makers harmaginised multiplayer features like how there's no radar option so I can see where other players are on the map- its not like I play like that all the time, its just really pointless to have two people playing and not knowing where the other person is since almost all the places are really big. Also I miss hardcore mode after playing on modern warfare 2. Anyone know how to work 'round this?

It's still under my Christmas tree along with Fable 3...
