Holy sweet mother of FSM, I know Morrisson is british and using these literary references because, lets face it, the English can't help but bring motherlovin' books or shakespeare into EVERYTHING. But Mr. Toad and Mr. Pyg? Doll people? I almost don't want to read the next issue... almost.

Seriously, that last page with the future storyline glimpses, ala John's JSA run, hinted at some kick ass stories I can hardly wait for. The image of Jason Red Hood Todd returning with his own version of a female sidekick, thats gonna be dangerously sexy as hell. I'm interested on seeing Morrison's take on the Fallen Son of Batman.

I thouroghly enjoyed the book surprisingly, normally I shy away from Morrison and his "creativity" but I thought he did a fantastic job in this one of character work and showing just how different this sseries will be compared to what Batman has been over the last decade.

I enjoyed Dick here, he's a far different man than Bruce was and Damian's spoiled brat personality came across wonderfully.

Allot of people over on WUMB have been hating on Quietly's art work, but I thought he did a fantastic job of showing just how different Dick is from Bruce and the new Robin suit was all sorts of cool.

I'm adding this one to my pull list I enjoyed is so much.

The art was quite solid, I love the takes on Dick and Damien.

I flipped through this at the store and was really surprised at how much I liked the art. I''m not a Quitely fan, but this was pretty nice.

Quitely really surprised me on this issue...the only thing I've liked his artwork before on was We3. The story's pretty interesting too. All in all, a decent first issue.

I thought the first issue was fantastic. I love the interactions between the characters and I cannot wait to see what's in store in this book. I am officially onboard for this series. thumbs up

Not a terrible issue. I liked it a HELL of a lot better than anything else I've read from Morrison.

Still unsure about the flying Batmobile. It's a little too futuristic for Batman.

I'm still not happy about Bruce not being Batman and Tim not being Robin, but whatever.

Some panels of the art looked okay, but Quietly draws really ugly people and clothes.

Batman Beyond was made... into... semi-continuity thanks to Superman/Batman.

I thought it was very cool. I like seeing Dick trying to teach Damian how to be a hero. I also love the fact they are not in the batcave but Wayne Tower. I also love the new Batmobile. This book is very awesome and I cannot wait to read more.

Okay. What does that have to do with this? Are you talking about the flying Batmobile? If so, it is true that there was a flying Batmobile in Batman Beyond, but the show takes place 50 years in the future, and the Batmobile was build like 20 years in the future. I don't have a problem with a flying Batmobile for a futuristic Batman, but for a modern one it feels out of place.

Uhhh... Kalamazoo doesn't exist. I erased it from Wikipedia, along with the entry for The Female Orgasm.

Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist Batty. If that was the case you would have erased vaginas too.

Zing!

I'm sorry, but I just did not care for this issue. I am VERY close to just dropping it.
