Inspired by some of the response I got on my 'Worst Movies of the Decade' thread, I thought I'd ask what are your guilty pleasures? What are the movies you love/like that everybody seems to hate.
A few of mine are:
Godzilla (1998)
League of Extroadinary Gentlemen
Rob Zombie's Halloween
Land of the Dead
Indianna Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The Grinch

I like these two movies. Especially like Land of the Dead. That movie rocked.

Zombies are awesome by definition. Add any more cool factor and they'll be awesomer.

There are many comic book movies that split me from other comic book fans. 'Spiderman 3' and 'X Men: The Last Stand' and 'Watchmen' are to films met with a lot of hostility that I actually enjoy

I don't hate LXG, but it was bad.
This'll be blasphemy, but in a good many ways, RZ's Halloween was better to me.
I didn't dislike Crystal Skull as much as so many do. The critiques are almost to the point of irrational...like they were ready to poop on it because it is the thing to do with reboots.

I was about to mention that. I can see people not caring for them, but I haven't heard an outcry of disain.

Had to rethink my list. Guilty pleasure implies films that may, at least in a sense, embarrass you to have others find out that you like it. Me thinks that you meant movies that are disliked, or at least has a large amount of people who dislike it/them, but you enjoy them, though. Hrm, I'll go with the latter, I guess.

This list doesn't mean love, just a liking.
- Resident Evil series.
- Star Wars Episode I-III.
- Queen of the Damned (Not sure if I could enjoy it currently, with all the seemingly "glampyr" stuff in it.)
- Fantastic Four
- Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer
- The Punisher (2004)
- Garden State
- Terminator 4: Salvation

Some more I can't think of right now.

The Wicker Man remake (as if my avatar didn't give that away already)

Hudson Hawk

Uncle Buck

Dirty Work

FF Rise of the Silver Surfer

Daredevil

2000 Maniacs

Pretty much any cheesy 50's or 60's sci-fi or horror movie

Why would you feel guilty about watching Uncle Buck? That movie is fantastic!

Street Fighter is probably my biggest guilty pleasure. I also dig on Mortal Kombat.

I don't really feel guilty for liking it, but a lot of people tend to hate John Candy movies, which I never understoood. Who's Harry Crumb? and The Great Outdoors are other gems. And of course Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a masterpiece.

As if I needed another reason to hate people.

I loves me some John Candy.

He was one of the greats, especially from his days on SCTV.

Harry Crumb: "Your husband is quite the...philodendron."

Chet Ripley: "Bi--bi--big...be-bea-bear...big bear chase! Big bear chase ME!"

EXCELLENT movie choices.

I also don't think Crystal Skull was that bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't the abomination people made it out to be.

I really enjoyed the latest Indiana Jones movie. Granted, I got to see it at a drive-in theater, which only made the experience of a 50s alien movie that much more enjoyable.

It gets a pass for the "snake rope" scene alone.

The only things I recall that stuck out to me is Cate Blanchett's accent is a bit rough in spots, John Hurt was completely wasted, and it's hard to buy Shia LaBeouf as a tough-guy greaser. Other than that, I pretty much dug the movie.

Shia LeBeouf's character pulled down the film, I thought. He became Tarzan in a split second after taking some mental note, I guess, from monkeys. Rolling Eyes
Too many talks about the past and too little on the Crystal Skulls hurt it the most. Whatever the subtitle, that is always the focus of the movie, but not really until the end did Crystal Skulls start getting deep into the background of the items.
The nuke-the-fridge scenario spawned a term of the same name for films that is the equivalent of tv's jumping-the-shark.
Still enjoyed it.

I loved Shia swinging on the vines. I never really understood the implausibility of it. Any kid who's played on a jungle gym is capable of the same thing.
