Wow. Great, great show. JGL was a perfect host, and the skits were hilarious.

The Digital Short was the best one I've seen in awhile...Mrs. Mo hated it, which made it even funnier for me. Laughing

I fast forwarded through DMB, because I didn't want my ears to bleed...but he did a great Ozzy impression...good stuff.

"What's up with that" is becoming one of my favorite skits...they could do it every week, and I wouldn't tire of it.

"Angry Dinner" is always good for a laugh.

Looking forward to Blake Lively...finally a well-known actress again...I've been wanting her to host since she cameoed in the "Tiny Ding Dong" Digital Short Laughing ...she should be great.

DMB played the song that the wife-of-the-future and I were dreading they would play: We had selected "You and Me" as our wedding song, and have been hoping he wouldn't release it as a single until after we got married...
Shit.

I'd say it was a solid show.

Was JGL putting on an accent for the monologue? I fucking hate when they sing for the monologue.

"What's Up With That?" is worth it just to see Keenan sweat. That dude can perform. I DID not like Moynihan as Jake the Snake. They could've picked a less awesome veteran wrestler.

Jenny Slate grates on me. I miss Casey Wilson.

Aw. Well, I don't think it will affect the moment.

I normally dislike singing during the dialogue, but that's only because they usually aren't good. And I noticed that voice he used, especially at the closing. He sounded like a old-time, radio show host.

I also feel the same about Jenny Slate. Though, she just hasn't done anything yet to make me laugh. Some SNL cast-members can be a stale-fish, also. Wilson had her moments, wouldn't mind seeing her back. I'm surprised when someone decent gets thrown to the wayside or they quit or whatever. Like Jeff Richards, I thought, was quite funny, but was only on there briefly from what I could tell. Saw him on FlashForward a couple episodes ago. He's a minor character that connects things.

It's just a bummer finding out he's releasing it as a single, so we're going to seem like we just picked the newest song, or that we hadn't had this planned out for the better part of 1/2 a year.

It was better than some of the music she wanted; it's very sweet.
Also, I like Dave Matthews.

Not a fan, but I don't hate him. He's got...what is that called...talent! That's it. Heh.

But ya, don't worry about shit-talkers. It's your day. And if the song is special, it's special.

The wife's a big Dave fan, and I've gained some respect for him after being forced to listen to all of his albums. He's got quite a few songs I enjoy.

If I wasn't already spoken for, I would want Nasim Pedrad TO DO SEX TO ME!!!

Just read an article in Entertainment Weekly where they gave this season a B-. This and saying that Fred's Obama is a bad impression were two things they got wrong hmm On the brightside, it is nice that the new cast has been more prominent to the skits.

His Obama wavers in quality, but it's okay. There really hasn't been a good Presidential impressionist since Ferrell did Bush.

Alyson Hannigan, Johnny Depp, Ed Helms, John Cho, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Colbert, Robert Downey, Jr. (Got in trouble the last time he was on SNL with his judge.), Kristin Chenoweth, Meryl Streep might be neat, Nathan Fillion, and Jane Lynch should be number one.

I hope that's humor. If not, he's the wolf-boy from the craptacular new movie, New Moon.

I guess there'll be a lot of jokes where he'll be required to remove his shirt.

^ I'm sure the jokes'll be there about his body, but I'm not sure NBC will require a 17 year old to take off his shirt in front of millions for a sketch-comedy show. SNL has been rollin' with the Twilight parodies. Firelight is the best parody I've seen to date.

Nope, just checked. December 5th, the next new show, will be Blake Lively. Never heard of her, really, but--and I know this'll sound silly--it looks like she has a funnybone. Don't ask how I know this, but I just have a feeling. She looks like a cliche, celeb blonde with not much going on...I'm still saying funnybone. We'll see.

No, I was serious. I know almost nothing about that movie series.

I only know Kristen Stewart because I saw in other movies, that vampire boy she falls for because he's the center of attention nowadays and Ashley Greene, because I've seen her name and face in various places.

Not a bad show, but maybe SNL just isn't using their hosts like they used to? Or maybe the hosts have been getting lazier. I'll go with the previous.

Enjoyed the short with Samberg & Rihanna, "Stolen Potato Chip" was very college humor but it got me, Weekend Update was alright and Tiger Woods spoof made me chuckle. Had no idea the guy had women in different cities. I thought it was one or...I honestly didn't know much.

Also, the Rihanna wearing the chainmail was, I guess, supposed to be symbolic. I may have miscontrued the lyrics, but is she forgiving that guy? Chris Brown. Had to look him up.
