Having just read through this whole series the past week, I'm damn excited for this! I love the book.

My love of Holloway aside, he's too old looking IMO. Isn't Rick in his early thirties?

I really want this to be good, I hope the tv show makes good decisions

I wouldn't be too cautious. Both AMC and Frank Darabont have good track records. Of all the current comic book/sci-fi/fantasy stories currently getting the television treatment, The Walking Dead is the one I'm least worried about.

Frank Darabont! Holy fucking shit! When I was at SDCC07, I was in an elevator with him ( we were going to the same place) and I'm 99% sure he was totally fucking holding Walking Dead TPB's.
That's just a really cool "A-HA!" moment for me (not counting when he and I were transported to a sketchy cartoon world).
