No real big ones since Wizard pulled out. Dallas Comic-con is absolutely tiny and not worth a major drive. There is Staple! Independent Media Expo, which is bigger in terms of size, but smaller in terms of big names. Although I guess that wouldn't be much different than Chicago since no one really went for the con.

You know you and Jose are always welcome, but we live in a really small house. I don't know how comfortable y'all would be. It might be more fun just to split a hotel room again.

What we need to do is get Richard to run CAPE! next year. That's more than worth the trip, IMO.

I don't know what his thoughts on CAPE! are these days. The economy hasn't drastically improved and he had a successful FCBD this year, without all of the expense of flying out a bunch of creators and renting tents. I would love it if it came back, but I don't know if he still enjoys it enough to spend all of that money. It probably also hinges on whether or not he can get new talent to come out. I'm curious to see how it pans out.
