I think Lost has gotten everyone crazy with theories. I know im one of those people, but I just watch the show because im hooked on the plots. And is it just me or am I the only one that yelled at the tv screen when Kate was crying?

The Dharma-sharks were actually a production mishap. Supposedly F/X people messing around put that on the sharks tail, and either forgot about it or didn't think anyone would notice. I'm sure, with all the animals being played with after the fact, that the story has osmosized it in as canon, though.

I hope The Whatevers don't pop in with their giant, hearth-dwarf making mechanical noises and leading to Norse mythological figures being the cause their Floating Island, which will be revealed as Asgard at the end of the show. Wink

Uhhh...they showed the shark with the Dharma logo when they showed the Island underwater in the Season 6 premiere...

With almost every fan bitching that the polar bears haven't been explained yet, even though they have, I can't imagine the show's going to completely ignore the shark...even if it's a throw-away line like "I told you sharks & The Looking Glass were a bad idea" or something...

I actually think the sharks were on the list of things they weren't going to waste time talking about. Seems to me they're there just like the polar bears. Some sort of experiments going on. anywho...

HOLY SHIT WHAT A GREAT EPISODE!!!!!!!!! Awesome to finally have it confirmed what the whole reason they're there is, and what exactly the list was, and all that jazz. We're only scratching the surface of everything, but it's definately feeling like the end is near.

I'm having a very busy week at work, so no review today...I do want to chime in on "The Substitute" and say that it was fantastic! It looks like "Smokey Locke" is being set up like Randall Flagg from The Stand, recruiting the bitter and downtrodden characters to help with his mission, whatever that is. My "Groundhog Day" theory about the "flash-sideways" still looks like it holds water. Can't wait until next Tuesday.

That is the oldest theory by fans. And one my comic lady professed when I thought Sayid would be the new vessel for Jacob. I'm thinking that that may be the case. 'Course, Desmond's son, Charlie, was blonde too, yeah? ...so was Drive Shaft Charlie. Shocked

Whoever the kid is, Locke seemed kinda scared of him and MiB Locke doesn't get scared. Good episode, explained why they were there and the numbers to some extent I guess everyone on the plane was a potential candidate but it was only numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, & 42, does anyone remember who was what number. nevermind found it:

4 - Locke
8 - Reyes
15 - Ford
16 - Jarrah
23 - Shephard
42 - Kwon

Notice there is no Kate, and only 1 Kwon. I'm guessing Jin, but hard to say. Also Miles isn't on the list.

True. There were only 71 survivors of the crash. There were alot of names crossed out on the ceiling. I wonder why there was only 1 Kwon though. And no Kate.
