Next week is, apparently, Jorge's favorite episode. Only 3 episodes left. They've wrapped things up already, though.

^ As you know, if we don't see the death onscreen on Lost, that sometimes means the character may not be dead.

^True. I NEVER believe a death on TV or in movies unless I see the body/the death is onscreen.

I've been scared to come into this thread not knowing how far behind the States we were here. Well the answer is not far at all seeing The Candidate screened here last night. So I'm safe!

I was originally thinking the sideways timeline was eventually going to right itself and bring everyone almost to the same point they are in the main timeline but I'm now thinking something more along the lines of what you're saying.

I don't think so. I'm thinking he's dead and just didn't get a great death scene because he's not one of the main characters. He's always been a sort of second tier character. As far as the plane goes and him being on the island for a reason - I don't think so. Dude, I don't think anyone's going to be leaving the island. No one!

Hey did it cross anyone's mind that Sun maybe should have insisted on Jin leaving so their child had at least one parent still around?

^Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Jin leaving for the kid.

Maybe it's because Jin is my favorite character, but those final moments between him and Sun got me a little glassy eyed. This was a hard episode to watch.

I am going out on a limb here anbd mostly because I really like jin, but maybe when their hands split apart he left to go swim to the surface? I am being optimistic, I am thinking that in alt. world Sun will also pass away but Jin will live.
