See now those are pretty, I don't get the ones that... well ok I have a patient that has his gauged pretty big... like bigger than a quarter, he only has an empty ring that keeps them open. Nothing pretty or decorative just a big empty hole.

I don't get that. *shrugs*

Plus I don't think he takes good care of his jewlery, they smell.

I don't take it personally. I know it's kinda weird.

Yeah, I don't like the huge holes. There's a guy I know that has them somewhere around 2 inches. That's beyond icky. At that size, all you can go is put in the empty rings, because plugs would be too heavy. I also don't think that the big holes look good on women. I think the smaller, daintier spirals are lovely, but anything over 00 is a bit too much.

And yeah, if you don't take good care of them, they can get stinky. Sounds like he needs to wash his ears every once in a while. Mine don't smell. I clean them every day.

I like the spirals, if I weren't afraid of the MRI machine pulling them out I'd contemplate those... I've never seen any like that.

smelly ears.... eew. I have a super sniffer so smelly stuff always hits me first. One of the doc's I work with is constantly telling me I'm pregnant because I can smell so well.

Maybe girls don't like you because you're smelly???
