Marvel Zombies: The Return

That had to be the most fucked up non-Max Marvel Comic I've ever read. Holy shit balls... that was some sweet gore and totally unexpected twist at the end.

Fred Van Lente was born to write Marvel Zombies. He fuckin' gets it.

Now to get some sleep.

Dude that was freakin awesome! You mentioned it, I went to get it today, I opened it, and it just threw me for a loop. I wasn't even expecting the gore.

I love how Van Lente captures the ol' 60's/70s writing style and the art is so spot on. All that made the horror of the situation so, so much worse! Glad you enjoyed it 999,999Geek

And yes, Marvel Zombies Return is awesome, I especially loved the iconic way it ended. Nasty but damn. lol.

MZ4 is already over? I read the first two issues of that. It was awful.

Yeah, I flipped through it and when I saw ZSM ripping through the Sinister Six, I bought it merely for that panel of zombie insanity. Fred is a good Spider-Man writer.

I really dug this. I like how conflicted ZSM is. I could read a monthly ZSM book.


Liked the end, also liked Kingpin.

The Return #2 was okay, its was kinda super fuckin' depressing compared to the Evil Dead II level tongue-in-cheek antics of Return #1, but stil it was an okay read that ended with an obvious lead into whatever the overarching storyline is for The Return. I'm about to read #3 right now.

Okay so Marvel Zombies #3: The Return... action packed, romp, baby! Zombie Ninjas, 2 WOLVERINES! And finally Zombie Spider-Man using his brain for good. I hope #4 is as good!
