Yeah, I missed that. Good catch.

I stopped watching this season after the horrible second episode (which they must've found when they cleaned out the X-Files office) and then missed the 3rd on my DVR. At the urging of a friend I spent the past couple weeks catching up and I'm glad I did.

I think that next season we may see a new set similar to the other sides Fringe division, especially seeing as how it looked like they were building something new in the federal building.

The Other side looks pretty crazy, I love how they have advancements in certain areas of technology, HUD's and stuff like that.

Fringe had a shot of a "Red Lantern/Red Arrow" comic along with other alternate comics in a shot

Watched the last two episodes last night. I'm in love with this series. I really do.

While I suspected right when Olivia approached the unconscious Bell that it was alternate-Olivia (apparently fans nicknamed her "Bolivia") and I was certain of it when she got to "her" apartment and knew exactly where to find the key after the two Olivias' conversation, and looked at the interior in owe -- it was still a great ending. I assume Peter, when regains his senses after returning to what he now calls home, will see she's not this universe's Olivia, if he looks right into her eyes. And I bet that despite her training she won't be able to hide her true nature, which is quite different then Olivia's. Oh, and their kiss. She won't know about that (unless she had time to watch video footage from the apartment, and they surely had cameras in there).

Anyway, I'll probably have an "OtLB" written about it in preparation for Season 3.

Olivia's mother has been cast. Amy Madigan, who received an Oscar nomination for 1985's Twice in a Lifetime and was generally awesome in everything from Field of Dreams to Carnivàle (not to mention the John Candy semi-classic Uncle Buck), will be playing the role.

Yeah, read that yesterday on Wikipedia. Interestingly, in the alternate universe Bolivia had a picture of her living mother and she didn't look like Madigan...

I noticed that too. It should be interesting when Olivia and Bolivia's mother meet for the first time.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...you've got me all confused.

Olivia's mother is dead in our universe. That's why she was stunned to see the picture in Bolivia's apartment. In the Alternaverse, Bolivia's sister died instead of her mother. That was the whole point of the 'Mom's alive?' part of that conversation.

I don't really want to start a whole new thread for Fringe, so I'll just use this one to talk about season 3. Maybe T-Matts or one of the esteemed PoP!-Stars can change the title of the thread.

Anyway, I finished up season 2 a couple of weeks ago and I LOVED it. I immediately caught all the way up on season 3. God damn this is good television. I wasn't too high on this show during season 1 (liked it, didn't love it). One thing that bugged me in season 1 was the constant device of Olivia going in the deprivation tank to access memories, or her going in trances or things of that sort. Anyway, season 2 just got better, and season 3 has been amazing. This show just gets better and better. I can't wait for it to return. I am worried about it moving to Fridays though. That can kill a show pretty fast.

John Noble is amazing. He deserves an Emmy. I truly believe that Walter and Walternate are two different people. He acts so differently as each. It's amazing. Then there are the layers of Walter. He truly is a complex character. Oh, so good.

For a long time I couldn't make up my mind on if I thought Anna Torv was attractive or not. I did. I think she is. I love her red hair when she's Bolivia.

I love that Broyles has taken a more active role since season 1.

Fringe returned tonight!!! With guest star Christopher Lloyd!!

If you never seen the show it was not the BEST show to jump into but considering the jumping between universes of the first part of the season it was a easy episode.

It was messed up (in a good way) plot wise. Lots of Observer, great acting by John Noble. Chris Lloyd did well. If you like the Butterfly Effect or Deja Vu, and ripple effect type time travel this was a great episode.

Christopher Lloyd's character was so tragic and it showed what Walter would have been like had he never saved Peter. Awesome episode.
