I hated this. It was boring, cliched, and just silly. I don't know what happened to Diggle. His pre-Shadowland run was great, but it has all fallen apart.

How the hell did Matt get that police car all set up with the cable?

This wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.

After hearing about the Daredevil relaunch in July I'm thinking we'll see Brubaker back on the book. It makes sense seeing as he left Secret Avengers.

I'd kill to have Brubaker back on the book.

Brian Michael Bendis is doing it.

Reborn is another shitty Daredevil mini. I was pleasantly surprised by the first ish, but the second one just went by-the-numbers. I suppose I'll buy the remaining two to finish.

I'd be happy with this. While I prefer Brubaker's run ever so slightly, Bendis' run on DD was fantastic.

I know, right? I don't see how he'd have time to do DD with all the other stuff on his plate.

Yup and Moon Knight and Avengers and New Avengers. I think that's it, though...other than his indie stuff.

He also has Ultimate Spider-Man.

Along with Powers, Scarlet, the next Takio GN, and the screenplay for Fire.

EDIT: And the creator owned book he's going to announce at C2E2

Maybe he's got Wolverine's ability to be in multiple places at once so he can do all of these books.

Not wanting to defend what Diggle's doing here but I could actually see how he could do that. You hook the police car up to the cable with some slack on the cable and then push it over the edge. I've only done it once before but it's not that hard.

Yep, this book is ordinary. I don't know if any of this is true about other writers coming on board after this but I can say one thing - I'm not getting Daredevil when it re-starts if Diggle is writing it.

I hope you're right about Bendis (actually I'd just about take anyone at this point!). If I had a choice I wouldn't be getting the remaining 2 issues but unfortunately I ordered them in advance so I'm locked in. I've got to get smarter about not ordering books I'm unsure about and checking out the first issues. Dammit!

If it's not Bendis as has been mentioned earlier, I'd like to see Hickman have a go at Daredevil. I know a lot of his Marvel work has been a bit bigger picture than Daredevil but from some of his earlier work I've read I think he'd be really good at a street level character.

More than anything I want Brubaker and Lark back on Daredevil. I love Brubaker's run SOOOOOOOOOOO much!!

Thinking about it, I can see where it wouldn't be impossible to do, but I think it's a bit extreme for DD. I really didn't like it.

I've decided there is something positive I can say about Daredevil: Reborn. Jock's covers have been excellent.
