All your lists are FAIL because you did not mention, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA. That is the greatest movie of the 80's and perhaps of all time. Laughing

These are on my list, as well as:
Friday the 13th: Parts I-IV, VI & VII.
Legend
Labyrinth
Dark Crystal
Repo Man
Night of the Creeps
Night of the Comet
The Thing
Conan the Barbarian & Destroyer

...you know, we should do, like, ones that are listed more than a certain amount of times--say 3?--to from a master list of some sort for others to look at for reference, so that they can see those movies that they may be missing out on. That'd be neat. My Horror/Fantasy professor made a list for us and I'm still digging through it. Cool stuff. Just thought that might be a neat idea. Same for the 90's movie thread that I'm about to head over to. Food for thought.

Back To The Future III and Pump Up The Volume both came out in 1990! They do not belooooong!

No one mentioned these, so I will include them!

Better Off Dead
Real Genius
Clue
Airplane
Secret Admirer
Lethal Weapon 2 (the first was mentioned, but I've always preferred the second!)
One Crazy Summer
Vacation
Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai
A Christmas Story
Say Anything
Naked Gun
Aliens
The Toy (Richard Pryor dressed as Spider-Man!)
Creepshow (it has one of my favorite movie openings and endings ever! And I dare you not to get a chill when Leslie Nielson leaves Ted Danson on the beach buried up to his neck as the music starts playing!)
Heavy Metal!
C.H.O.M.P.S. (I haven't seen this since I was 6, but I remember thinking it was the ginchiest!)
Neverending Story
Cloak & Dagger
Flight of the Navigator
Innerspace
Romancing The Stone
Star Trek II (The best one, IMO!)
Remo Williams
Poltergeist! (The movie that scared the poop out of my 5 year old self!)
Rock & Rule
The Secret Of Nimh
Tron
D.A.R.Y.L.
Young Guns
Young Sherlock Holmes
Willow
Zapped! (you have to love those movies where the guy gets powers!)
Modern Problems (Another guy gets powers movie! IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LIKE IT! *nose twitches*)
My Science Project (This is one people should see if they haven't, it's about a couple guys in high school who uncover a hidden power source for a space ship on an old military base. Time and space wackiness ensue! I'm always surprised how many people haven't heard of this one)
Short Circuit

Aaaaaah! I coud go on, but I should stop there!

Agreed, but with the last two. I still need to see them before I judge. Never heard of the last one, but the second to last kind of rings a bell.

Rock & Rule is an animated movie about a post-apocolyptic future where humans are all gone and animals have evolved to become the dominant species. It's got some great 80's bands doing the music and the story and animation are really good. I recommend it!

My Science Project is one of those over-looked gems from the mid-80's. The story and effects are actually pretty good and it has some funny scenes in it.

And I can't believe I forgot Fast Times, too! But looking at my DVD collection, I noticed some more I didn't mention:

Something Wicked This Way Comes
Highlander!
Real Men
The Princess Bride
Caddyshack
Twilight Zone: The Movie
The Last Unicorn
Dream A Little Dream
First Blood
Commando!
Electric Dreams
Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Beverly Hills Cop II! (another sequel I preferred over the original)
Escape From New York! SNAAAAAKE!
Howard The Freakin' Duck!
Pink Floyd: The Wall! I had a strange obsession with this one when I first saw it!
Splash
Nate and Hayes! A great pirate movie starring Tommy Lee Jones and, uh...Danny Noonan from Caddyshack!
The Money Pit!
Excalibuuuurrrrr!
Explorers!
Teen Wolf! Brought to you by the one and only Jeph Loeb! How can you go wrong?!
Time Bandits!
They Live! Featuring one of the longest fist fights in movie history, I think!
Vice Versa! One of Judge Reinhold's best roles, IMO.
