It's great that for the last couple of years the percentage of All Ages titles is becoming dominant. Should've been that way since day 1. Now they just need to work harder on the PR. In any case, already found some interesting stuff to pick up.

Eh with the slight exception of War of Supermen, nothing appeals to me. Most stores are too controlling when it comes to this so that made me skip out FCD 2009 and now with these free books, I'm definitely skipping this one.

There are four comic shops in my town, one being DCBS' home office, so I usually manage a pretty decent haul of free comics.

Additionally, one of the shops has had a deal the last of coupole of years in that if you spend 10 bucks, you can pick out as many (select) back issues taht you want also for free. It's awesome.

My LCS usually limits it to 2-3 picks per customer, but I always get to sneak into my bag more than that... But there's also the competition not far from there, so I never get empty-handed on that day.

The bigger shops in NYC let you take all that's available. Some of them make a day of it which is cool.

I'm pretty sure that my LCS let me pick out 7 book last year.

Yeah, I have noticed if you are a regular customer of the store you get more of a selection. I think it's great that the stores have this, but what alot of the common folks (non-regulars) seem to not understand is that the stores still have to pay for these free comics and those are the people I have noticed that get the most upset when they are told there is a limit. The owner of my old store I used to go to said he only saw certain people one day a year and that was on free comic book day. So he limited them, they never buy anything.

scotland usually doesn't take part in these it was just pure luck that my lcs ordered a small amount of blackest night 0s for those who have green lantern in their files

I am hyped for the G. I. Joe one, the wat of Supermen one not so much. I need a break from events

Impressive lineup. I'll definitely be getting G.I. Joe, Dr. Solar / Magnus, Mouse Guard, Iron Man / Thor, and War of Supermen.

I'm happy to see that the Mouse Guard comic is also a flipbook with Fraggle Rock.

I'm most looking forward to the GI Joe one.

How u have 4 comic shops in Fort Wayne? I live right by there and get my comics from there. I only know CLems and Books, Comics and Things.

I got a lot of back issues from Books, Comics and tThings last year during fcbd with your above mentioned $10 deal.

Only things that interest me are the GI Joe, Solar/Magnus, and Green Hornet.

i'll be taking g.i. joe, iron man/thor, iron man: supernova, overstreet, worlds of aspen, irredeemable, freedom formula, and artifacts. my shop usually lets u take what u want, maybe cuz im a regular like someone else said, and im usually there while all tha books are still around, so i can pick get all i wanted.

See this list actually gets me a little more excited. Comic Evolution in puyallup is all read one of the best comic stores I've ever been too, but they totally support indy titles which is awesome. Assylum Comics has put out some great quality stuff, but because of the owners relation ship with a lot of the indy lables there are always little extras. The shop does make an event out of it, they have creators there to do signings and they usually have a lot of door prizes too.

My favorite pick up last year was the FCBD minimate, and the year before was the invinsible ironman heroclick. I love me some FCBD.

The Tick, Simpsons, and Green Hornet are strong possibilities for me.

I love Free Comic Book Day. It's so much fun.

I don't know what I'll be doing yet. I'll try to get some friends of mine to hangs about my LCS with me. If not, I'll just get my books and then go home to read.
