The Dark Knight Rises is decent enough...The Dark Knight RETURNS would have been awesome for us fanboys/fangirls but maybe "Returns" just didn't fit right with the plot.

Tom Hardy is rumored to play Harvey Bullock. For some reason I like this a lot better than having him play the villain. I could see Nolan bringing in Bullock as a guy coming in to GCPD to specifically take down the Batman, causing some great moments between him and Gordon.

That sounds as good as a name as anything else.

Tom Hardy as Harevey Bullock? That would be a very interesting choice but I could see it.

^ That's not half bad. Still no sign as to whether this is still in Batman's dawning days or later, so maybe. They did build up the fact that other vigilantes are making their stake, especially using the Bat symbol. And with that said, it could also very well be The Reaper. A combo of all three? All 3 were the inspiration for DCAU's The Phantasm.

Sounds like a bit of a leap, but you know TDKR has to be quite the leap from Nolan to even equal TDK. Fun to speculate. But I'll remember you said this. If you're right, I'll hold you in higher-esteem. If wrong, I'm rubbin' it in your face.

Curiouser and curiouser. My money is on Talia being in the film. Does make it nice and tidey as far as creating a pattern with all the films.

Filming in Louisiana...that's where the Killer Croc rumors are coming from, but just because crocodiles are there...nevermind. Although, anyone in the know would tell you that that is where Belle Reve is. Home of the Suicide Squad. Floyd, anyone? Might have said this before on this thread. Lawton's family were Gothamites, but they have that Southern, old money air about them. Maybe changed origins on Nolan's part? But hey, maybe it's just a filming location with some privacy and we're looking too deeply into things.
