Way of the Dragon Remake?

Stephen Chow will direct and star in a remake version of the film entitled Tai Chi. The film is also rumored to star Jack Black and Anne Hathaway, and will begin shooting in June 2010. It will be Chow's first American movie.

Really? (sarcastic) How are they going to remake this-

Every martial arts actor will want to but will either be weary or should be weary. Would anyone want to be in the shadow of Bruce Lee? Even if it was one of his lesser films.

(Not to mention Chuck Norris. )

Now, if they were to take a--not so much a sequel--a sister-movie approach. Like it's the same world but someone else is going through their travails and meet up/go up against Chuck Norris' character, etc., that might work.

*sigh*

^ I know. First Karate Kid and now possibly the most known martial arts flick.

bruce lee movies should be like the constitution in washington......untouchable.
