I have to assume all of them are shutting down. From what I've been told by the local guys all of the stores shut their doors last Sunday. So you might check out your area and let me know. This is the Hived Boxed set I was talking about I had a chance to get a case a while back and it would have broke down to $25.00-30.00 a set. Much cheaper than getting those 2 packs at TRU. OK, here is pics of the big box of stuff I received a few days ago. I'm pretty excited about finally getting Gentleman Ghost and completing my Wave 8 & 9 stuff. Not to mention getting the newest JLU 3 packs. Now if I could just find the Batman Beyond 3 pack I would be set for awhile. This is the nice thing about networking with folks in multiple forums and treating folks they way you want to be treated. Although with the bump in cost in stores, I am considering sticking to trades or purchasing online. It just doesn't make much sense to drive all over with my son trying to beat other folks to the figures.

oh ok, yeah ive seen that set somewhere i think, or at least just read about it on tha internet. i wouldnt mind increasing my locust numbers. and i just called tha fye thats near my hometown and theyre still open.

Ark "playset":


Putting it together is a nightmare, and it doesn't even get put together, really. I had to use packing tape on the back of the back wall pieces, and it's resting on my actual wall, since it won't stay connected to the floor. Trying to lightly - and I want to stress lightly - press on the sticker for one of the monitors, and the clear blue piece that are the monitor screens came unglued. The rest I had to push from the back, just to make sure it didn't happen again. And, the stickers don't even stay stuck. I'm going to have to go at them all with superglue (they sell bottles with little brushes). Also, I'm missing a little solid orange monitor from the middle of the big console. I didn't realize this until an hour and half later when everything was "assembled" and all but 3 stickers had been applied. I really don't care at this point. It would be a bigger hassle to take everything apart, then to put it back in the box, then contact the website, then ship it back, then wait for a replacement. It's really not worth it.

Once it's "together", though...it looks amazing. It fit perfectly in my shelf unit. There's even about a half inch on either side, too, and I was worried it'd be too long.

It's simultaneously both a piece of garbage and a masterpiece. If that's possible.

This is my first experience with the third party company who made it, "iGear", and honestly, the impression was not great. I really don't know if I want to get anything else from them ever again.

But I don't regret getting this. It looks beautiful, and really makes my Classics Autobots collection pop (no pun intended). Unfortunately, it also makes my Classics Decepticons collection look really drab...

my roommate just got me a DCU Classics AllStar Superman figure, it came with a little collector button. But now i finally have the big four.

I have Batman(the all black costume that's loosely based on Michael Keaton's Batman), Wonder Woman, Green Lantern(Hal Jordan), and Superman!

i've also got two more Justice League members, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. All i really need is a Martian ManHunter and maybe Mr. Terrific and ill call my Justice League complete.

i was trying to get the best way that the hand hold it in place. it isn't that easy. maybe you can try the clear string.

If I buy Larfleeze, I'm almost certainly warming and bending his arms. I REALLY want him wrapped around that lantern.

How? If you do it, make a youtube video!

How? The easiest way is to hold the part of the figure you want to bend in boiling water. That's USUALLY enough to soften the plastic. Then, bend it into the position you want and hold it that way as it cools. Sometimes, it'll take repeated efforts, with the bend becoming more and more permanent each time. If you're REALLY careful, you can hold the figure directly over a burner on a stove (not gas, no flame) but again, this takes precision because you don't want the plastic to hit the burner and melt flat.
