Tad mostly annoyed me because we often agreed about stuff, and since he was 'live' it left me little material to work with.

Induction into the WWE HoF after five years of retirement would result in lots of posthumous inductions, what with most wrestlers going in and out of "retirement" so often. How many times has Terry Funk retired now?

Tad, excellent use of ramipercussions.

SNL is cyclical. It's good for awhile, then it sucks for a few years, then it's good again, and so on.

I've been actively watching SNL since the Myers/Carvey/Farley/Sandler/Spade/Hartman/Rock years, and I have never been able to dismiss an entire season, or multiple seasons, for that matter, as shitty. I think it's more a matter of those 2 or 3 skits every so often that get some semblance of mainstream notoriety, then everyone's all "SNL has sucked for so long, but I like this."

And on that same token, NO season is perfect. There's almost always a dud or two. The Jonah Hill episode is one of the worst in recent memory.

I'll always be an SNL apologist. If I can get through the 94-95 season and still watch it, I guess I have to be. That said, this past episode was pretty damn funny. Even that last sketch was kind of interesting in a "let's fill up the last four minutes of the show" kinda way. And yes, Knize, the Black Keys were in fact awesome.

Tad's "make sure they do their milk" comment had me giggling for about fifteen minutes, mostly because I've been searching for old videos of that SNL Funhouse Mr. T sketch lately.
