Some Red Dead Redemption Might Be Coming Brad Pitt's Way.

I have yet to play Red Dead Redemption. How sad is that? Especially since I love westerns so much. But I was never a fan of open world video games and wondered if I'd ever have the time to finish it. I played Gun to death and enjoyed that one so I guess I should pick up a copy of Red Dead and see what the fuss is about.

Showbizspy (who?) are reporting that Brad Pitt is up for the role of John Marston, the lead character in Redemption. Of course, this is all rumor and speculation but here's what they're saying:

Sources say the Hollywood heartthrob is the hot favorite to play renegade outlaw John Marston in an epic cowboy shoot-em-up based on the PlayStation game.

“This is an exciting project with a great character at the center of it,” a source said.

“The idea is to make this in the style of an epic Western movie but with a few modern touches.

“Brad is perfect for the role and he is being given first refusal.”
I like Brad Pitt and he was pretty good in The Assassination of Jessie James, even though that movie bored me to tears. Do you gamers think he'd make a good John Marston?

true, but a good cast can make a terrible script alright.
