Indeed. There was an olive blight in Italy in the 1300s that nearly caused a war from the populace degrading into a murderous rage.

We didn't go crazy with Christmas presents this year. Andy and I haven't really exchanged gifts. We haven't exchanged gifts for a few years. Mostly because I never really want for anything and when I do I don't wait for it. He gets it right away.

BUT I did get a lovely Wonder Woman picture from Spaced
My mom send a warm white hoodie and a pearl bracelet
my sister (who was being a jerk the whole time) got me matching pearl earrings
Andy's mom got me a car charm (???) and $.
His sister got me an iTunes card

It's all good. Christmas hasn't been the same since Dad died. I enjoy giving gifts more now than I do getting them.

I made my niece the cutest poppet. I need to write up the story for her for my niece since I didn't get to be there to tell it to her.
