This morning I started reading The Verdant Passage, book one of The Prism Pentad by Troy Denning. These books have been sitting in my stack for quite a while, so I figured it was about time to get to them!

I just restarted reading Fool Moon (book 2 of the Dresden Files). I was in the middle of reading a Star Wars book and I suddenly had the urge to go back to the Dresden books. I read the first book two years ago and I LOVED it, so I bought the second and third books. I started reading the second, but I got busy and never got very far.

I finally decided enough was enough and so I restarted it (I had only gotten to about the 15th page the first time). It's great. I'm definitely not going to neglect finishing it this time. My goal is to at least read the first 6 or 7 Dresden books by the end of summer, but I'm hoping to read more than that. However, I have other books I want to read as well.

Down the Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan by Howard Sounes. An entertaining bio of one of my all-time favorite entertainers.

The Comtemporary Congress- Burdett Loomis and Wendy Schiller
From Ideologies to Public Philosophies- Paul Schumaker

Taking a much needed break from the Wheel of Time series (between books 6 & 7) and read Charlaine Harris's 'Dead and Gone', the 9th Sookie Stackhouse novel. Have to say it wasn't my favourite in the series and the plot 'twists' were a little weak and predictable. Will still continue with the series though as I love Sookie!

Nothing currently, I've been pretty busy with Modnation Racers.

Finished Laurell K. Hamilton's Bullet. Meh. I'm not a prude, but I want more story with my sex plz.

I'm reading "Mostly Harmless", the last of the DOuglas Adams HHGTtG. So far it's good and an improvement over the previos book, "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish". I'm alittle confused though, they say Earth was destroyed within the first few chapters but at the end of SLaTfatF Earth was rebuilt and stuff. What happened?

Back to The Wheel of Time series....just started A Crown of Swords

I just finished Christopher Greenhalgh's Igor Stravinsky & Coco Chanel. It was a quick read, but very unfulfilling. Chanel and Stravinsky expounded on the virtues of sleekness and simplicity, yet the writing is so flowery and cloying. Ugh. The writer didn't take their ideas to heart and craft his book very well.

Presidential studies quarterly. by the Center for the study of the presidency and congress. YAY!

My wife talked me into reading the first of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Thirty Nine Years of Short Term Memory Loss by Tom Davis. It's an episodic memoir from one of the original writers of Saturday Night Live and Al Franken's old comedy partner. It's a bit choppy and it jumps around a lot chronologically, but it's fun.

Blink by Malcolm Gladwell - it was recommended by my librarian friend

I'm reading Max my James Patterson its the newest book in the Maximum ride series its good but i'm already half done with it.

I am finally reading World War Z.

I've only read up to the second book in that series, but they are really good. Patterson books are usually really fast reads. If I have the time I can easily get through one of his Alex Cross book in a couple of hours.
