I just can't see how someone who is a father could hate CHristmas. Gabe's only had one, and had no idea what was going on and it was still the coolest thing in the world. Everything you're bitching about just makes you sound selfish. Ugh I hate buying present, I hate this I hate that. Well, as a father, don't you think Christmas should be about your family?

^ That's fair. You kind of, through your kid, get that projection of what Christmas really should be. Gotcha. I just dislike, and you can't fault me for that. It isn't because I'm not really religious or have anything against the pagan holiday , I just hate, like most have pointed out, the commercialism combined with the hussle and bussle.

Name something in our society that isn't commercialized. It's getting and giving presents. Awesome. AND I WILL FAULT YOU ANY TIME I WANT.

Hmm... I just realized that once the month of Christmas gets here. I can legitimately wear my santa hat while working. SCORE!

Christmas is lame, yeah but I hate the entire month of November and December. I want my summer weather back, damnnit.

I enjoy Christmas but I've had to prioritize what is really important to me about the season. Spending time with my family is important, but not forcing people to hang out at pre-scheduled times or events. I bake cookies, but if I'm tired I'm not going to do it. End of story. I like to go look at Christmas lights, but I'm not dragging people along that don't want to go. If you want to go cool, if you don't, cool. Same with tree decorating and all that. It's amazing how much more I enjoyed the Christmas season when I cut out all the silly parties with the spending limits, gift for gift junk and the "yes, I can do everything!" attitude.
