Ha! A little too late for apology, Wizard! An early alert would have been nice...but I guess I'll at least register on the new board-or maybe not.

well they removed message boards from the top of the page on wizardworld.com
but it says blogs there and i am not sure if that was there before. plus you can't click on blogs so i think it safe to say WUMB is gone

My best guess would be that they took the boards completely off the grid and that old message was still there, and automatically replaced the login screen. In other words, they're idiots.

Read the comments above you. That message is from almost two years ago when the boards crashed for a few days and Jim was fired 3 months ago.

Haven't checked the blogs since WUMB was gone, but I doubt anyone was writing a blog anymore. Sadly, I think the staffers (most of the former) who wrote a blog won't find anything archived anymore. Same as my X-Men round-ups and other former contributors' online works. Like they did with the new design awhile back, Wizard just moves on and doesn't care if former contributors used their website as a reference to their works. Luckily, I had everything I ever written for Wizard archived in other places.

I have the feeling that there are a lot of people here who wake up and check WUMB to see if it's still down. If it ever comes back up I want to see how many people stop posting here and go back to WUMB full time. It's like an abusive relationship with WUMB wearing the wife-beater lol.

I would register just for Toyfare. Pop is just a greater community and really wish I would have checked out the Pop cast and web site earlier.

Maybe you wanna slap that into an iTunes review... Just sayin'.
