You need to be reading this book. Why?

Here's six good reasons.

I love that issue 2's intro page is exactly the same as issue one but swaps Strucker for Fury. This book drips awesomeness.

I know right?

By the way, got a big THANK YOU from Mr. Caselli himself when I shot him a link to the column. Make sure when you post your 6-pack, one of us sends him the link to that, too.

It might be easier to convince him if you didn't accidentally refer to him as "she" via typo. Assclown.

Question 2: Do any of us speak Italian? That might be helpful.

This is a well-written series. I've have always been a sucker for spy and intrigue stories and this series certainly has it. I hope they delve into the additional/secret files they posted in the first issue.

I've been lovin' this series... man Contessa really nailed it with the "Nick Fury Agent of Nothing" line. I know thats the ad copy tagline but you could just hear it in your head dripping of some kinda sexy sarcasm.

Anyone still reading this title? I just picked up issue #8, and read it on the subway coming home tonight.. It doesn't really seem to be going anywhere. The last bunch of issues have felt the same. Either something big's gonna happen, or it's just going to be another mundane Marvel title. I'll probably give it a few more issues, and if it doesn't pick up, I'll be finding myself with another casualty from the Marvel camp.

It's a shame really, it started so well!!

Haven't read the newest issue but I love this series. You know it's all leading up to something and it's cool seeing how it's all being planed.

Secret Warriors #9

This book excels on two accounts: the artist and the action. This book's known more for it's Nick Fury-surrounded snark and circumstance, it's espionage turnings and spook dialogue; this issue, however, shifts to non-stop action featuring the actual Secret Warriors and New Avengers. About time. The art will never be as good when Caselli's not on board, but Vitti greatly improves from his last take. You may read this in under 5-minutes and it'll still be worth the thrill.

4/5 Bags&Boards = Excellent

I have to agree. I don't see why they couldn't have released the The List issue after this one. Doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like this issue was running hugely late or anything.

That being said, I think this issue contains one of the best fight scenes I've seen in a comic in a long time. Perfectly choreographed with some fantastic moments. Well done to Hickman and Vitti. Nearly the whole issue is the fight and they've pulled it off fantastically - it feels frenetic.

I didn't really care that much for Vitti's work last issue but he's grown on me with this issue which I thought was pretty good work on his part.

I like how Eden's powers are dependant on math. It's an interesting factor.

Yeah I think Hickman's a clever writer. He throws very interesting stuff in here and there. Lucky Eden's good at math - would've been a problem if he was a dummy.

Agreed.

I loved issue #9. I agree with everything Aussiemandias said and don't really have anything else to add.
