Food combinations you liked but didn't think would work

Celery salt on hot dogs.

BBQ sauce on a baked sweet potato... I don't know *why* this works, it just does.

Chicken tenders and apple sauce. Try that shit.

I liked chicken nuggets and honey...but I don't know if that's that weird.

I did convince one girl I went to high school with (and didn't particularly care for) that apples and mayonnaise tasted great together, and then when she actually tried it and told me about it, she was upset that it didn't taste very good at all. So I apologized profusely and told her, "Oh my God! I completely forgot to tell you to add cinnamon! Add that, and it'll be great."

She did. It wasn't. There wasn't enough LOL in the world.

^That is both hilarious and delicious-sounding.

I like to make some rotini (or any pasta) and dump a can of Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup on it as a sauce. It is so bland and gloppy, but it's also my ultimate carby comfort food.

My sister once swore that cotton candy + dill pickle on a stick tasted like a cheeseburger. I still don't understand how that worked. She was maybe 6 at the time.

Hehehe, your noodle soup actually sounds kind of good, if you replace the mushrooms with something else. And I haven't actually tried fish sticks and custard, I just couldn't keep from making a Doctor Who reference.

It works with cream of chicken, too, but I'm just really partial to cream of mushroom soup straight out of the can (weird, I know).

I just can't handle the 'shrooms. Blech. D:

Somebody on the syfy boards said they tried the fish sticks and custard thing, and said it wasn't terrible. They also said that in the show it was custard and some kind of bread pastry thing, not actual fish sticks.

I love peanut butter, Tomato, and Bacon sandwichs, they are amazing.

This is going to sound absolutely horrifying... but when i was a kid, my grandmother would make me mashed-bannanna sandwhiches. It was bannanna mashed up with miracle whip on white bread. And screw you all, because it was fucking delicious.

Potato chips and cottage cheese is awesome. I get the ruffle chips cause they work best then you put on the cottage cheese.


I also i like French fries dipped in chocolate shakes.
