Yeah, after the promo for last week's episode where they're like "Hey, let's shoot down a transport with a rocket" and then they try to make it a mystery about what happens I kind of just did a Kanye shrug and walked away.

Wake me when they show what a V looks like without human skin.

The twin brother of Jacob is Esau. Oh snap! It's about to get Biblical up in hyah!

"Esau" is taking on characteristics of Prometheus with fire, Orpheus (connection with [Benjamin] Linus), Osiris (with the whole dead schtick) and even Icarus, with his knack to invent without really knowing how. Which Icarus is a reflection of Hindu demigod Jatayu, who also had a competition with his brother, Sampaati.

Across the Sea was okay. I've always liked the Jacob stories, so I thought I'd love this. I didn't. Honestly, I was kinda bored for most of the episode. Like I said, I called everything, so I was kinda just waiting for the episode to surprise me. It did not.

I enjoyed the episode. Many didn't, it seemed. A whole bunch of Twitter people were saying things that they didn't understand after the fact, that have pretty much been explained, at least to an extent (This isn't anyone on my followed list. ). They're saying things like, how is MiB in Locke's form and they didn't really explain what the light was...and all that. And I'm like, it's that chronal energy. Life/death, time/space, CREATION, you mofos. Ahhh...well. Stupid is as stupid does.

Some people want everything spelled out and spoon-fed to them. If that's what they want, they're watching the wrong show. I'm assuming the finale will piss off a lot of people and we'll get more cries of "What about the polar bears?"

Those cries would have been easier to avoid if they didn't mention the bastards this episode.

last episode were to hammer home the point that MIB is THE evil. But why? He was betrayed by his (fake) mother and murdered by his twin brother. Why is he the evil one? As far as I can see, he just wants fucking revenge. And to GTFO the island.

For a better part of the episode, I thought to myself, "Why didn't they just get Allison Janney? This woman looks enough like her."

Oh, that's right.

But yea, the island, just like Egyptology creation story with a single island, will turn out to be the source of life on the planet. All those forces culminating together to form life and probability, etc. But in a complex scifi sense. Which, in turn, gives birth to all the myths of certain religions and stuff. My decent guess on those points.

I think Im going to watch it again tonight.

I was also thinking that he wasn't that evil, either.

I honestly don't see them bringing this to any kind of satisfactory conclusion in 3 and 1/2 hours of TV (with commercials). And I'm not talking just satisfying ME....I'm talking about Lost fans on the whole.
