My guess would be Batman: Gotham City or something of that sort. I would mess my pants if they made an open world Batman game in the same style as Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I'm not a huge fan of the Croc level but not because I hate it but I do find it a pain at times. It is kind of cool in a lot of ways.

I love the Croc level... when I get to watch other people play it.

I'd rather they keep that to DCUO and keep this series as a sort of puzzle game with action. I mean, it would be far too easy to make this game horrible by making it open environment. I think, instead, the game should focus on key landmarks in the city that each have levels and you can use the Batmobile, Batcycle, Batboat, and Batjet in between as means of transport and adventure.

Started playing the Challenger modes and they became sort of repetitive. I think in the sequel, these Challenger modes should be unique or separate from what you did in the game. Almost like bonus levels or side quests.

There is a upper library-file area in the warden't office alucardbarnivous, that's where you should find them. It took me too long to find these damn things.

I got them yesterday. Thanks though! I locked up the Riddler shortly after that. The only puzzles I had to look up on-line to finish was the Intensive Care Lobby's question mark window, the Riddler trophy in the Mansion lobby (picked it up when I helped someone else on their game but forgot it on my game), and the teeth in the Warden's office.

If anyone's interested, I uploaded quite a bit of the art done by Wildstorm for the game:

Couldn't find a few of the pieces, however.

As for new threats, I hope we see Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat, Two-Face, Firefly, Calendar Man, and Mad Hatter.

Few thoughts on a sequel:

Riddler returns Hannibal Lecter style where before his capture, he sets up riddles in Gotham with deadly results if Batman leaves untouched.

Scarecrow = Scarebeast.

Bane takes the Titan formula to Wayne Manor and injects Alfred with it (who, when turned, bears a resemblance to the Outsider). Batman has to follow Bane to Wayne Towers where he forces Kirk Langstrom to alter Titan after capturing his wife Francine (who has gone on to work for Wayne). Batman has to battle Man-Bat and then Bane to prevent this new version of Titan from hitting Gotham.

Killer Croc hits the Gotham Sewers and injects the Sewer King's children with the formula.

Two-Face sends the Dark Knight to the Gotham Zoo in the game's start to face his Arkham Asylum-like rat maze.

Mad Hatter takes over GCPD headquarters.

Firefly started the fire at Blackgate for Joker where he remained alongside Mr. Freeze to face the Dark Knight.

Side Quest: Calendar Man is killing victims and if Batman is to stop him, he has to solve calendar themed puzzles.

Cool pics, who did the artwork? also not too bad ideas for the sequel, but I'd like to add Catwoman and Penguin in there too.

Dustin Nguyen and Sheldon Moldoff respectively, IIRC.

Thanks, but I think Penguin would be hard to pull off in this format. I would save him for a third game featuring a gang war in Gotham (Penguin, Black Mask, Great White Shark, Ventriloquist, Hugo Strange, Maxie Zeus, etc). As for Catwoman, I think she would be good for Challenger modes.

^ See, those are great, but I'd actually love to play as them. And I loved guessing who'd be on the bio list.

Just heard the Batman: Arkham Asylum will be rereleased for PC, PS3 and X-Box as a Game of the Year Edition for NA. Here's a Europe article on there release: http://www.gamershell.com/companies/square_enix_co_ltd_/700212.html

Something I've been thinking, Would anyone else want a level replay for when you beat the game? I mean, I walk around Arkhma grounds after beating the story mode and It's kinda boring without some goon skull cracking that's not in challenge mode.

I just finished this game for the Xbox 360 and really enjoyed it. I thought the Riddler puzzles were a cool addition to the game and I absolutely loved the combat. Let’s be honest, they really could have really overcomplicated it with all the possible button combinations ( something akin to Street Fighter), but keeping as simple as they did really enhanced my enjoyment. Plus, I loved the slo-mo beatings. I thought it was a cool touch.

Really, my one complaint was that there wasn’t enough fighting. It didn’t even need to be against the rogues, just give me some inmates to beat up on Laughing

With that said, I highly recommend this for any Batman fan.
