Is it just me, or did issue #3 have the most inane dialogue ever written in a comic? Robinson's usually pretty great, but this issue had more groan-worthy "joke dialogue" than a Michael Bay film. I could barely finish the issue.

Hm, I liked it. I thought it did a fine job of setting everything up quickly and could have been the first issue of the series.

Is it the most hated comic book on the internet right now, or is it?

I liked the first two issues, but this one really irked me. I'll try to get a review up in the next couple of days...I wanted to put one up last night but didn't get a chance to.

Haven't this issue, but the first two were just bland to me. It's not awful or anything though and I thought that threesome line from the last issue was given WAY too much thought by many people.

I read Issue 1 cover to cover, its got an interesting premise. Read Issue 2 like I read any other non-priority comic. Skimmed Issue 3, I will not be reading any further issues. *snores*

The sane half of me says "quit it now!" but the collector in me says "get them all you don't quit midseries"

The premise was interesting at first, but it's really starting to bore me. I still dig the art, though. I'll give it one more issue and if I'm not impressed, I'm done with it.

I really like all 3 of the first issues. I like the interplay between Congo Bill and Mikaal a lot. Same with GA and GL.

Freddie is leaving me a little flat so far from the way he's being portrayed. Other than that not much I can complain about from this book. It's gonna make me put JLA back on my pull list when Robinson takes over.

I've never really been into th JLA, but I've decided to pick up Cry. So far, I'm really digging it. Its a lot more dialogue driven than a lot of other comics I've read lately, and the artwork is just phenominal. So far, I'm really liking it, but it does seem to be sitting too close to the fence right now. We'll see come issue 4.

I want to like this book as I love the GA/GL dynamic so I'll keep up with it until the Congorilla/Starman bit makes some fucking sense.

I noticed that everyone is commenting on the dialogue here, too. His Starman started out like this. Ted, Mist, and Shade all started off as stone until the story started to chisel away at them and show form with past sins, virtues, and finally giving us a relatable character.

I will say that "justice" doesn't need to be said now until the final issues climax. Sheesh. tongue Wink

Still fully enjoyed #3.
