You and I tend to have pretty similar taste in movies, so I'm interested to see how you receive Iron Man 2.

I've got nothing against AC/DC, but I HATE it when a movie has all the songs on the soundtrack (aside from the score, of course) performed by the same artist or band. It's like all those damn Nick Drake songs in Away We Go. After the third or fourth song, I was ready to stab myself in the ear.
Yeah, I was disappointed with that as well. And she didn't use her Widow's Bite, even though she wore the huge wrist dealies whenever she was in costume.Sapphire Gypsy wrote:I guess I don't seem to have the problems with the movie that you did.
The biggest problem I had with it. She can't even attempt a second of a Russian accent?
I get the fact that she's into her double role, whatever, but she didn't even in all that action, all that excitement lose her accent for a second.
I don't know who said the soundtrack was all AC/DC, because it certainly wasn't. There were other bands used, as well as a traditional instrumental score. Off the top of my head, I only recall two or three AC/DC songs popping up.Debaser77 wrote:Speaking of the music, whose idea was it to have all the songs be AC/DC tunes? Damnit, I read that. I'm taking that as Fury telling him that they have someone else planned to lead the group is all.azrael07 wrote:

so i haven't actually seen it yet, but i was checking something about the movie on wikipedia, and yeah i skimmed a little bit of the plot summary. Towards the end, Fury tells Stark he's unsuitable for the Avengers Initiative or something to that effect. does this mean Iron Man won't be in the Avengers film?
