It seems wierd, I just bought the new Twisted Toyfare Theater trade. I just got the latest issue not to long ago.
The magazine, which looked to have went through some cosmetic changes, was one of the best issues since it cut pages.
If they are coming out with a new site, who knows maybe a new WUMB, then I hope it keeps some of what made Toyfare great.

You could read the back of a cereal box in the same time it took to read Wizard. You'd get far more valuable information from it as well.azrael07 wrote: now what will i read?
This.Time out. I know it's not a physical magazine but to come on this board, where all the main guys came from freelancing at Wizard, and ask that question is really rather insulting in my humble little opinion.

im not saying it's not, and i certainly didn't mean anything insulting by it. It's just, since i was about 12 or so, Toyfare has been my favorite magazine. Each month, i look forward to it.One of the best christmas presents i got was a subscription to it quite a few years ago.Foxy wrote:Silent K wrote:azrael07 wrote: now what will i read?

If you haven't read the articles, reviews and features on the main site, and really, you should have by now, do so. It's like Wizard in their heyday but better. Honestly. It's good shit.

Lies and slander. I think they have a Myspace page, though.Gojiratoho wrote:
I had heard rumblings and rumors that they had a main site too.

Juan: Hey! Come on in! I made some lemonade! You should take your clothes off and get in the hot tub? Did you bring the 4Loco and condoms?
Predator: You look different than your photo.... Do you have a cold or something? You sound funny.
Chris Hansen: Hi. Why don't you have a seat over there?
Juan whips it out behind the curtain.
Are you just casually referencing the fact that you haven't noticed large amounts of news (though, they're all over the place) or are you saying that because you think this might be mis-information and Wizard is still publishing?azrael07 wrote:other than this image in the first post, i haven't seen anything or heard anything about the cancelation of either. In fact, the latest issue not only advertises the next issue, but even advertises the 'First Ever Toyfare Awards' or some such.
The simple thing is that things change. I'm sure at the time the issue you were looking at was going to print, they might have had every intention of having the next issue come out. It's a matter of things probably changed between then and now.azrael07 wrote:other than this image in the first post, i haven't seen anything or heard anything about the cancelation of either. Go to wizarduniverse.com and click on the 'Subscriptions' link. Let me know how that goes for you.
