Well, it's a bit of a shame if this is their last issue. It would have been nice to have a special "FINAL" issue sort of deal.

While I never wrote articles for it, the possibility of being quoted kept me buying it for quite a while after it went downhill. It was fun to get the issue each month and see who from the WUMB had been quoted. Once they stopped printing quotes my last reason for buying it was gone and I dropped it.

I liked seeing my name in the indicia, even months after my online articles and the WUMB, the two reasons I was credited, had ended.

You do realize that things get printed WEEKS in advance (perhaps even months) and that given how fucked up and crazy Wizard has been it's entirely likely that they thought an issue was planned that they don't have the money or staff to actually put the next one out. To think that this is just some hoax or that several press releases and messages/emails/interviews from people are wrong is just...

It was cool seeing articles that you wrote on their website and it was very cool when they were taking quotes from the forums and printing them at the beginning of the magazine. It was good times. Wizard had a good run and to be honest, for those that haven't moved on, why the hell not?

As for "Wizard World", I have a morbid curiosity as to what the hell it's going to be but nothing more than that.
