Tonight's show was hilarious. Conan and Andy blasted NBC! Gervais helped out.

Jay needs to step down and work on his truck.

Well, he should definitely step aside. I would say graciously, but I think that ship has sailed. I've been putting my cable box downstairs on NBC after 11 in the hopes that it might affect Conan's ratings. Wishful thinking on my part, but it's the spirit that counts.

Yes to both..... Some homes have nielson boxes, some have nielson diaries (writing in the book what you watch), and some cable boxes can report what is being watched... If you are using a basic cable (no box) or over the air signal, then there is no way for them to know what you are watching.....

I guess they also have a way to check out ratings via cable boxes with dvr too, depending if or when you watch the show after recording it. I read somewhere that they use this much like the Nielson Ratings.

I saw on Warmingglow.com that next week will be Conans last.

unless NBC does an turn around in the next week... (well I guess they have till the Olympics are over) Late Night tv is about to get very interesting and if it goes down like we all think, Letterman is about to see a boost to his ratings....

^ That's what I'm thinking. Conan is done. They made a good point about everyone uprooting from New York, even band members, writers and others that make Conan work, even in the smallest of ways, are now out of the job because of the drastic location changes.

Fuck Jay Leno.

I never liked Leno much. I really dont see how Leno will improve when his show was doing terrible before this. Theres gonna be a backlash of people who dont want to see him simply because he forced Conan out. I hope Conan finds another station because I really liked his show.
