Jay Leno Gets Back Conan's Time Slot

Of course, if everyone who is suddenly team Conan (not reffering to anyone here, just in general) was watching or DVRing since he started (I haven't missed an episode in terms of dvr, some i just watch the monologue and delete) we wouldn't have this trouble. Leno show tanking is a big part of it, but they wouldn't force Conana off of 11:30 if he hadn't lost the extremem amount of viewers that he did.

well the problem with tv viewing is that people are usually not accepting of new tv hosts. plus if the people who watched at 11 followed jay to ten o'clock (before dropping NBC altogether) the audience share is diluted. Letterman saw a big spike in his ratings because NBC messed this up seriously. NBC does not have great primetime lead ins. So then Jay has low viewership (and his show has been a miserable flop), then the low NBC late night local is low, and then its just a bad spiral.... For a late night show it does take a while to build an audience....

Yep, I love Leno, sorry folks. I just don't find Conan that funny. I think Leno is much more likable and a better interviewer. Conan tries to hard to be funny, and does those dumb movements and noises. It drives me NUTS.

I like Fallon, but I don't think this is the right job for him. As for Carson Daly, not a fan.

I LOVE Craig Ferguson, just love him. I think he's the funniest late night host.

I just don't get why everyone is rallying around Conan. I know he said he only got 7 months, but that's actually a long time. Other shows are given MUCH less time to establish themselves. Also, wasn't Leno on top when he left the Tonight Show? I think it was dumb that they sorta forced him out.

I love those noises and movements Conan makes, he's really animated and I like it. I don't think just because he does that means he's trying too hard, it's just natural for some people to be silly like that

Jay has a few good jokes here and there, his headines thing is pretty funny but meh I like Conan way more

I think it's because we know he can be funny BM25JM that so many of us rally for Conan. My wife actually got me watching the guy when we first started dating almost 13 years ago. I think by that time he had found his groove with his audience. I think Fallon, given the same opportunity will find his groove. He like Conan before him has big shoes to fill, but I have faith in him. Unfortunately neither him or Conan are getting the respect or deal they were promised by NBC. Like I said in my earlier post, it doesn't matter if you like Leno or O'Brien, it's a dick move on NBC part to move things around. The Tonight Show has always followed the news and it makes no sense to push it back a half hour for Leno's mediocre show. I think both Leno and NBC should have thought this through before going to the expense of the new line up.
