I am indeed curious about this.

I wonder how different it'll be. By the trailer, my hopes are at least the light of the movie, maybe not some of the more debaucherous moments. Not, of course, thinking that it won't have the violence, just all the language and the bit o'sex. Doubt it'll be Wanted or anything. I should probably see that. I just...don't want to.

I still need to read the comic. First trade's out soon, I hear.

I really want to see this, but not enough to see it in theatres. Paperback version of the trade is out in July, there's a 3-4 month gap between theatre and DVD, so that'll likely be out in August. Yeah, I'll wait and get both in August. I'd rather blow my disposable income on video games this summer.

The more I see about this movie makes me want to watch it.

I do too, but I just don't like to go to the movies anymore. It's expensive, and I find the crowds annoying.

^ Gosh...haven't looked at that in awhile. Some new faces, I think. It's entertaining to see who goes on these nightwatches. I like how The Eye looks like Dr. Occult. Tothian was in the Watchmen extras. I kind of wanna become the first villain for these guys. Knock out Whitley's Batman & Robin. Show them I mean business.

Didn't even know the movie was out yesterday in Israel. Never read the comics and I doubt I ever will, but maybe I'll watch it just so I can get approval for my conclusion that Mark Millar lost it.

We can duo! AstroZombie 13? Or just AstroZombie? BlueMaxx doesn't sound villainous, though if I were to switch it--Maxx Blue! Sounds like I make people really sad. Like Psycho-Pirate, except just melancholy. And when they're crying, you eat them.

So I saw Kickass last night (I'll keep this spoiler free, though may write up a proper review once most others have seen it) - Wow. It is an awesome flick. Nic Cage gives his best, most geek-rewarding performance of the last 15 years. The directing is well handled & the performaces are strong all round (always good to see Vaughn put a few Brits in the cast, Mark Strong especially). Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

I've met The Eye. Met him at a Red Cross blood drive in '09. He's like 45 minutes away in mountain view. Seemed nice enough. I'd feel kinda bad being his villiain.

^ Yea, there are a few that do it for a gimmick, and are reasonable and logical people that do it to bring attention to good causes...but a good few are loons. Heh.

I'll admit, this looks like it has the potential to be pretty funny. But it being Millar and given his track record, my brain is telling me to wait for DVD. *shrugs* We'll see. I'm not going to make the effort on my own, but if a group of friends is going I'd probably tag along.

Im definately going to see this one at the movies. My buddy at work has a bootleg but I had to decline borrowing and watch it on the big screen.

Does have Nick Cage though who is one of the worst actors ever. The trailer had him doing this annoying laugh which I guess they thought was awesome enough to include on the trailer.

Anyway I hope its a good movie.

Me &my friends are planning to see it. While I've only read the 1st ish so far and I had mixed opinions on it, it all looks good. I know ppl don't really care for Nic Cage but I think he looks hilarious in this. I liked Stardust so I trust Vaughn, and Mark Strong is in it, while Craig Ferguson has a cameo. Hopefully I can get the trade before I see the movie. Can't wait!

I'll probably see this. I'm not a big fan of the comic in that I neither love it nor hate it. So any real changes won't bother me. The movie looks entertaining so I'll give it a shot.
